pulse oximeters

( number of products: 2 )

A pulse oximeter is a medical device used for non-invasive monitoring of the percentage of oxygen saturation in the blood - saturation (SPO2) and heart rate. It can be used both at home and in clinics, hospitals. It is worn on the finger. Arterial blood oxygen saturation is measured by directing red and infrared light through the vessels in the finger. The device measures the degree of red and infrared light absorption by the blood to determine how saturated the blood is with oxygen. The device determines the percentage of oxygenated haemoglobin to haemoglobin in general. The correct saturation level is between 95 and 99 per cent. A saturation of 94 per cent and below is already a sign of hypoxia.
